What a surprising and fantastic find. One of our favourite places we found on our whole honeymoon. The place is incredibly detailed and shows a great history of the south of the USA. The owner is a very interesting and intellectual man who knows alot of history and is interested in knowing about history in other parts of the world also. Thank you, for a great time in your museum, we only wish we had more time!

There is so much to see here! The owner is knowledgeable and very engaging,and has gathered,verified,and organized an incredible collection. The displays are well organized and depict all walks of life during that era. I was literally moved to tears by some of the artifacts and stories. If you get the chance,this place is a must. Also, privately owned and operated,so don't just walk past that donation box!

Incredible number of artifacts and organized so clearly. The weapons and ammunition displays were amazing. Paintings and photos depicted things I was not familiar with. I would go back at my earliest opportunity.

A wonderful well represented private museum. This museum really represented the inequalities of slaves and the need for there freedom.

Wow!! What a collection of amazing artifacts ! You could spend an hour or two in here. So much to see and so much history. This is not a big place but it is packed and well layed out.
