This original, excavated, U.S. Breastplate is an older recovered breastplate. Both hooks are present, and it looks great, in excellent relic condition. It has the maker’s mark, “W.H. Smith Brooklyn” stamped on the back. This is one of the better early pick-up breastplates from an old collection.
